THE HEALTH SERVICES
There are plenty of health facilities in Kutahya. There are 10 governmental hospitals, 119 health centers, 4 clinics for struggling against tuberculosis, 186 health homes, 2 centers for mother and children health and for family planning, 4 laboratories of public health, and 8 emergency and rescue centers in the province. These health institutions have been giving services with 1471 beds.
The health staff is indicated as follows:
-184 Specialist Doctors,
-230 Practitioner Doctors,
-598 Nurses,
-432 Midwifes, and
-519 Health Officers.
In accordance with the statistics in Kutahya, there is 1 Specialist Doctor for 3059 persons, 1 Practitioner Doctor for 8482 persons, 1 Nurse for 1252 persons, 1 Midwife for 5331 persons, and 1 Health Officer for 2221 persons.
