Autobiography of ?ükrü KOCATEPE, The Governor of Kütahya

     Şükrü Kocatepe, who was born in 1952 in Uşak, graduated from Uşak High School in 1969. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1973. Since he completed his bachelor’s degree on behalf of Ministry of the Interior by holding scholarship, he started his duty under the authority of the same ministry on August 16, 1973.
Having completed the training of district, he became the lieutenant colonel of Çiçekdağı, Göle, Datça, and Beyşehir in turn and then became the deputy governor of Ordu, Aydın and Ceyhan. Having been appointed as the governor of Bitlis, he carried on his duty for two years. Afterwards, he was assigned to the Central Unit and then appointed as the governor of Şanlıurfa and Giresun in turn. The governor Kocatepe started his official duty in our province on March 19, 2007.

     He attended a 5-month language course held by the Ministry of the Interior and he got foreign language training in England.

     The Governor Kocatepe is married and has got three children.
